Happy Birthday Dear TONY

So August is going to be a big month in the Clark household with 3 birthdays!!! Neither Tony nor I wanted to share our actual birth-day with Helena... and we both got what we wanted; however, due to a little administrative oversight, Tony ended up sharing his 34th celebration with the little one! We thought it would be fun to invite a bunch of friends over to meet Helena all at once, but after the emails were sent we realized it was Tony's birthday on the same day!!! Not to worry... Tony got to spend the afternoon with a bunch of friends and plenty of cake!

We actually started celebrating on Friday night with an evening out - just the three of us! Well... Helena had to come just in case she got hungry too - but she slept through our whole meal! It's always nice to be out eating food from around the world and chatting about life together!

Saturday morning our good friends Melt, Marise & Kristin came over for a pancake breakfast - the kids were quite cooperative when it came time to say a birthday blessing prayer for Tony... they're pretty cute!!


Elvie turned our regular Clark fare into a super-creative presentation!! She was amazing!


This is what makes a good birthday celebration - being surrounded by food & friends!
